Colorado Springs Things To Do: Caves of the Winds Reviews
At Cave of the Winds, we know how exciting and beautiful our underground caves really can be! But here are some national reviews from people all over the country who have enjoyed Cave of the Winds and feel that this is a must when it comes to Colorado Springs Places to Visit!
During my family's stay in Colorado Springs...we experienced no less than six major attractions for families in the area. We all agreed that our Eco-Venture Tour of the historic caves was a true highlight. I think the Cave of the Winds is an excellent attraction to visit on your family vacation in Colorado Springs. ~ColoradoGal (thevacationgals.com/fun-family-activity-in-colorado-springs-cave-of-the-winds)

Compared to the Olympic Training Center and the Garden of the Gods (the other major Colorado Springs attractions we visited) the Cave of the Winds passes with flying colors. Sure, if your a geologist you might consider this an "amateur cave". But I took the tour with my younger siblings (ages 9-13) and we all really enjoyed it. The tour guide was a great public speaker and knew quite a bit about the cave and the different formations. It was about a 45 minute tour which was perfect. Short but sweet. The cooler temperature in the cave was also a relief from the unbearable 100 degree weather. The Cave of the Winds is a great establishment and I would definitely recommend it! ~jhtrip05 (TripAdvisor.com)

This place RULES!!! I used to go here as a kid every time I went to Colorado Springs to see my grandfather. I used to love it so much. Then when I got to be a teenager my dad set up a spelunking tour for us into the "live" deeper part of the cave. It was awesome. We had to crawl through these 55 gallon drum tubes they have put in place to keep the outside air from damaging the crystals that were forming inside these little pockets in the cave. Very fun and cool. I recommend everyone go to this place if they have a chance! ~Kurt T. (Yelp.com)
