Prepare for Cave of the Winds -
A premier Colorado Natural Attraction
A Guidebook to GeoVenturing these Colorado Caves!
Never GeoVentured before in a Colorado Natural Attraction? No worries. A few simple preparations and you’re ready to explore the astonishing depths of our Colorado Caves with our two signature tours: the Lantern Tour & the Discovery Tour .
First, every good GeoVenturer knows when you go Colorado Caving, you have to wear comfortable clothing… jeans, shorts, even a skirt will do. Also, shoes with traction, like sneakers and hiking shoes, are a good idea. And even in the heat of the Colorado summer, the temperature in these Colorado Caves is a pleasant 54 degrees, so bring a light jacket if that would make your visit to this spectacular Colorado Attraction more enjoyable. GeoVenturers like to be equipped!
