Let our knowledgeable and entertaining guides lead you on a geological adventure that 
will excite and satisfy the whole family! Guides will reawaken memories of Geology 101 and Earth Science class as they describe when and how the cave system was formed and the differences between dozens of unique speleothems. Each guided tour will stop in over twenty rooms of underground splendor. The three quarters of a mile walking tours last between 40 and 45 minutes and leave the Visitor Center daily year round.

Go back in time and experience the cave the way visitors did over 125 years ago! Make your way through mysterious passages not normally open to visitors with just the flickering light of your candle lantern. See the remnants of the early tour trails, hear entertaining and frightening stories of cave exploration in the late 1880's. The Lantern tour is a rare treat for the whole family and one certain to be the highlight of your vist to Colorado! Tours leave on the hour from 10AM - 7PM daily Memorial day weekend - Labor Day. During winter months, tours leave 11AM, 1PM, and 3PM Saturdays and Sundays only. Make your reservation online for the date and time that suits your schedule.
NOTE: All tickets must be redeemed for validation 30 minutes before the selected tour time at our reservation desk inside the gift shop or the ticket will be resold and you will be placed on the next available Lantern Tour. Children MUST be 6 years or older to participate. ALL guests must be able to walk unassisted for the entire tour (approximately 1 mile and 1 1/2 hours in length). There are no restroom facilities available inside the cave. |

By purchasing your tickets online you are entitled to a discount on your family’s souvenir picture taken inside the cave and ready for you as you exit the cave. A $10.00 value, you pay only $8.00 for each original print and $8.00 (save 30%) for each additional reprint. Photos are printed and ready for pickup at the end of the your tour. Coupons may be redeemed at the Reservation Desk during ticket check-in.

All sales are final- no refunds will be issued for any reason. Tickets for a particular day and/or time may be exchanged for a later day or time based upon a space available basis and a $2.00 per ticket service fee. All tickets not used or exchanged within 30 days of original intended use date will become void. No refunds, credits or exchanges will be made. Tickets purchased online may not be used with any other discount, special rates or group pricing that may be available or offered in any other promotion offered to non-online purchases.
