PLEASE NOTE: All online tickets are subject to a $2.00 per adult and a $1.50 per child processing & convenience fee charge. A reduced processing & convenience fee may be available by locating the promotional code available from some of our other advertising media - brochure, billboard, magazine. If you prefer you may buy your tickets when you arrive and incur no additional fees. Purchasing your tickets online permits you to avoid the waiting lines for purchasing tickets at the ticket counter when you arrive. Go directly to the special check in window to pick up your admission cards for the next available tour into the caverns (DO NOT check in at the cavern entrance). In addition you receive a 20% discount (a $2.00 Savings) for each souvenir picture you purchase at time of check in.

Visit the Cave of the Winds early (between 9am and 11 am Monday - Friday) and enjoy a calm, relaxed guided tour of the cave’s most popular area along with enjoying the beautiful , refreshing views of Williams Canyon and experience the other sights and sensations of a spectacular morning in the Colorado mountains from our Canyon Rim Pavilion.

This offer is limited to ONLY the first 30 people each day (Monday through Friday only). The tickets must be purchased online and at least one day in advance to reserve your spot on your tour. Our Early Bird special is not available when purchasing tickets at the Cave of the Winds ticket office only online.

PLEASE NOTE: Upon purchase Early Bird Tickets are nonrefundable and may not be exchanged for any other tour, time or date. You must present your Early Bird Ticket vouchers to the cave ticket office as soon as you arrive. EACH voucher must be redeemed and validated 30 minutes prior to the time of the Early Bird Discovery Tour you purchased. Any vouchers not presented at least 10 minutes prior to the tour time printed on the ticket will be canceled and your reserved space given to another guest. Your purchase will not be refunded but you may be placed on the first available tour after 11:00 am.

Discovery Tour • Available All Day • Everyday • Year Round!

Let our knowledgeable and entertaining guides lead you on a geological adventure that

will excite and satisfy the whole family! Guides will reawaken memories of Geology 101 and Earth Science class as they describe when and how the cave system was formed and the differences between dozens of unique speleothems. Each guided tour will stop in over twenty rooms of underground splendor. The three quarters of a mile walking tours last between 40 and 45 minutes and leave the Visitor Center daily year round.

New this season Cave of the Winds will be offering a Flashlight Eco-Venture Tour starting Memorial Day Weekend and running through Labor Day Weekend. To reduce our carbon footprint, we are turning of the cave lights from 5:00pm till closing at 9:00pm to offer tours by FLASHLIGHT. Each season through this effort we will save enough electricity to power 20 homes for a month! The perfect tour for families and friends wanting a "Green" adventure.

The tour is a 1/2 mile long walking tour where you will be given your very own souvenir flashlight to keep with the purchase of your ticket. During this tour you will be provided information on the importance of Karst Tophography and cave conservation. The tour will take approximately 45 minutes to one hour to complete.

Tickets are available to purchase online for 6:00pm, 7:00pm, and 8:00pm. Tickets must be purchased at least one day in advance to reserve your spot on your tour. There will only be 10 tickets available for each tour so get yours now!

Children (6-11): $9:00

Children 5 and under are free. However, if you wish for them to have a flashlight as well you may purchase a flashlight for $2.00 each at our Ticket Office when you arrive and check in for your tour.

Lantern Tour • Who’s afraid of the dark? ...
When you have a candle lantern to light your way!?

Go back in time and experience the cave the way visitors did over 125 years ago! Make your way through mysterious passages not normally open to visitors with just the flickering light of your candle lantern. See the remnants of the early tour trails, hear entertaining and frightening stories of cave exploration in the late 1880's. The Lantern tour is a rare treat for the whole family and one certain to be the highlight of your vist to Colorado! Tours leave on the hour from 10AM - 7PM daily Memorial day weekend - Labor Day. During winter months, tours leave 11AM, 1PM, and 3PM Saturdays and Sundays only. Make your reservation online for the date and time that suits your schedule.

NOTE: All tickets must be redeemed for validation 30 minutes before the selected tour time at our reservation desk inside the gift shop or the ticket will be resold and you will be placed on the next available Lantern Tour. Children MUST be 6 years or older to participate. ALL guests must be able to walk unassisted for the entire tour (approximately 1 mile and 1 1/2 hours in length). There are no restroom facilities available inside the cave.

By purchasing your tickets online you are entitled to a discount on your family’s souvenir picture taken inside the cave and ready for you as you exit the cave. A $10.00 value, you pay only $8.00 for each original print and $8.00 (save 30%) for each additional reprint. Photos are printed and ready for pickup at the end of the your tour. Coupons may be redeemed at the Reservation Desk during ticket check-in.

All sales are final- no refunds will be issued for any reason. Tickets for a particular day and/or time may be exchanged for a later day or time based upon a space available basis and a $2.00 per ticket service fee. All tickets not used or exchanged within 30 days of original intended use date will become void. No refunds, credits or exchanges will be made. Tickets purchased online may not be used with any other discount, special rates or group pricing that may be available or offered in any other promotion offered to non-online purchases.
